Founded in 2016 in Shanghai, Q-A Studio is an international architecture practice based in Italy, with offices in Turin and Dubai.

The studio developed through a design-driven, research-based approach, initially focusing on commercial and workplace projects, and later expanding to residential, public and cultural work.

​

We design flexible spaces that respond to context, materiality and real user needs, with a particular focus on existing buildings and complex environments.

​

Led by architects Michele Armando and Lorenzo Trucato, the studio develops tailored solutions, managing projects across different scales from concept to completion. In Italy, we collaborate with international clients on property acquisition, renovation and construction processes, navigating the local regulatory framework.

Alongside practice, we are actively engaged in education, collaborating with institutions such as Politecnico di Torino, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, SOU – School of Architecture for Children and Istituto Marangoni.
