Ethai 1000 Trees

Located within Heatherwick Studio’s iconic 1000 Trees development in Shanghai, the new Ethai Café expands on the design language of the first venue while responding to the mall’s architectural vision of organic forms and lush greenery. Natural materials, soft curves, and abundant planting blur the boundaries between inside and out, creating a fluid environment where interior and exterior merge seamlessly. The project combines an open communal café space with intimate private dining rooms and an outdoor area, offering a versatile setting that reflects both the vibrancy of the mall and the tranquil essence of Thai dining culture.
